A time to heal
It can be a hard decision to consider therapy and even harder to make that first appointment. I want to help make that step easier and be a true advocate for you along the way. It is my primary goal to help you overcome any barrier that keeps you from receiving needed care, hope, and healing- and it all starts with you and I building a strong therapeutic relationship. I have been practicing for eight years and offer a very collaborative therapeutic process. I will meet you where you are in life and help you build insight and control over important therapy goals that we identify and work on together.
I offer a strength-based, narrative-focused therapy approach and have experience working with individuals and families. I am an affirming, inclusive, and trauma-informed therapist. Everyone is welcome and accepted as is. It is important to me that you are seen and heard and supported through any transition you may be struggling with. I have experience working with sexual and domestic violence/trauma, abuse and neglect, anxiety and depression, phase of life with relationships, career, academics, peripartum issues, personality and identity issues, LGBTQIA+, as well as several years' experience working with foster care and adoption issues.
The bottom line is you are worthy of healing and care. And you don't have to do it alone. Reach out for any questions or to schedule an appointment.
